Pantai Kok

A usually quiet beach, Pantai Kok is more popular for fishing than beach activities. Don't let that fool you though, the privacy that this beach gives is worth all the effort of driving the long distance from Kuah or the airport here. Nearby is the Telaga Harbour Park, which is supposedly an upmarket area for dining and nightlife. On off-peak periods though, the area is so quiet that the slightest noise is disturbing. However, the lush vegetation and surrounding hills provide some much needed tranquility to Pantai Kok. Around Pantai Kok are some famous hotels, including the Berjaya Langkawi Beach Resort, Mutiara Burau Bay, Sheraton Langkawi and Andaman as well as Datai in the north.
